Super Star Mahesh Babu-AR Murugadoss highly budgeted movie is expected to go on floors on July 29th and the team is currently busy with the pre-production works.
Rumors are rife that the makers have saved Rs 2.5 Crore for the untitled flick. In fact, Rakul has saved the amount for Mahesh Babu for slotting her hectic schedule to the project while she walked out from the project starring Sai Dharam Tej.
Earlier, the makers had planned to rope in Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra in the lead role but the actress' remuneration of Rs 3.5 crores had shocked them. While they were willing to pay the amount, it is learnt that she won't be taking part in the movie promotions.
According to latest reports, they decided to go for another actress and approached Rakul Preet who gave her nod to the movie for a remuneration of Rs 1 Crore. Seems like the makers of the Mahesh Babu project managed to save Rs 2.5 crores.
