Hamsa Nandini, who got everyone swooning over with her tantalizing dance moves in special numbers in films like ‘Mirchi’, ‘Loukyam’, ‘Lasku Tapa’, etc., will feature in yet another energetic number in the forthcoming film ‘Srirasthu Shubhamasthu’. The svelte actress will be seen grooving along with Allu Sirish in the Parasuram directorial.
Giving a glimpse of the song, Hamsa Nandini shares, “It’s a special appearance and I will be featuring in a peppy song ‘Desi Girl’, which comes at a crucial time. I have a lot of grooving to do and that’s one of the reasons why I have agreed to do the project. I will be seen sporting fusion saree in the song because filmmakers and Telugu audience love to see me in sarees (smiles). It’s also one of my favorite outfits because it compliments my looks well.”
Interestingly, the actress is not apprehensive of being typecast. “I'm glad to groove to a five-minute sizzling number or feature in a cameo that hogs the limelight rather than featuring in a two-hour role without any substance (smiles). I have been getting several lead role offers but if I come across a role that gives me the opportunity to excel in my performance, I shall take it up”, she signs off. - SA
