Ace tunesmith Devi Sri Prasad, who was excited to team up with Balakrishna and Krish for ‘Gautamiputra Satakarni,’ has walked out of the project. Reason? Apparently the composer failed to give the time the project needed given his chock-o-block schedule, leaving the makers no option but to call it quits with him.

Confirms a source, “Devi was gung-ho about working on a historical like ‘Gautamiputra Satakarni’ but since he has agreed to compose music for Chiranjeevi’s 150th, NTR’s next with Vakkantham Vamsi, Allu Arjun’s next with Harish Shankar and Nani-starrer ‘Nenu Local,’ he found it hard to adjust time for Krish’s film, which required his complete attention.

In fact, he was ready to make time too but Krish and Rajeev didn’t want to trouble him and so the inevitable happened. The musician has assured Krish that he will join forces with him in the future for sure. Chirantan Bhatt, who composed music for Krish’s ‘Kanche,’ has been roped in.”
