Nani says Nenu Local
Nani and Keerthy Suresh-starrer new film ‘Nenu Local,’ a Dil Raju production, was launched at the producer’s office in Hyderabad on Wednesday.
Nani and Keerthy Suresh-starrer new film ‘Nenu Local,’ a Dil Raju production, was launched at the producer’s office in Hyderabad on Wednesday. To be directed by Trinadha Rao, the film also features Naveen Chandra in a key role.
Speaking after the muhurat, Raju said, “When Trinadha Rao narrated the story, I was impressed and thought Nani would be the apt choice for the lead role. Nani too endorsed the story and gave his nod quickly. It is a characterisation based love story.”
Nani said, “Some stories need to be seen to be enjoyed. But when director Trinadha Rao pitched this one to me, I was in splits, prompting me to jump on board quickly.”
The director said the film is about what happens to an ebullient guy, who is extremely attached to his town, falls in love. Written by Prasanna Kumar Bezawada (of ‘Cinema Choopista Maava’ fame), the film will have musical renditions by Devi Sri Prasad.
