Mahesh plays IB officer in his next

Superstar Mahesh Babu, who is currently busy shooting for AR Murugadoss directed yet-untitled Telugu-Tamil bilingual project, will be seen playing an intelligence officer in the film.

"It's not a regular cop's role. He plays an Intelligence Bureau officer who specialises in containing terrorist activities. It's going to be a very stylish film and it will portray Mahesh in a very different avatar," said a source from the film's unit.

Also starring Rakul Preet Singh and SJ Suryah, the project is currently being shot in EVP world in Chennai. A joint effort between Tagore Madhu, NV Prasad, Fox Star Studios and MB Entertainment, the film, according to the source, will be wrapped up by January.
