Archana to play a con girl

Archana is back in action with another female-centric project to be directed by Osho Tulasi Ram. The Hyderabad actress is glad to be starring in a women-centric film, which has a jail backdrop.

“If you look at Tulasi Ram’s films, he always projects his leading ladies in a strong and a matured way. When he narrated me the plotline, I like the idea and my character sketch, and believed the script had a great potential. I played several strong characters earlier too but my role in this film is a bit different. I play an intelligent and a con girl, who also has grey shades”, Archana shares.

The actress feels fortunate to be able to star in woman-oriented scripts. “I’m done with running around the bushes and glam prop roles and am thankful to filmmakers for having me in female-centric projects. Also, I guess directors should come up with more scripts that portray women in author-back roles,” the actress explains. The project will go on floors from October.
