New York: Singer Kesha has filed a protective order against musician Dr. Luke to protect her medical records.

Kesha is asking a Manhattan judge not to let 'her most sensitive medical records including gynecological, psychiatric, and rehabilitation records going back more than ten years' be made public.

Dr. Luke's team is allegedly attempting to deny their confidentiality.

"Ms. (Kesha Rose) Sebert now fears that Gottwald will seek to disclose and disseminate her personal medical records in an attempt to embarrass and harass her, and she seeks the entry of a protective order precluding him from doing so," Kesha's attorney James Pearl wrote to Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Shirley Werner Kornreich.

Pearl added: "(Kesha) has disclosed highly sensitive personal medical records as part of this litigation, and her position as a world-renowned recording artist in whom there is great public interest renders any potential disclosure of those records potentially harmful to her personal and economic interests."

The order request comes after Dr. Luke's legal team refused to agree to keep Kesha's 913 pages of medical records confidential.
