Naturally, Rajamouli got a tad bit emotional as Prabhas bid adieu to the unit. “\"And that\'s a wrap for Prabhas. 3.5 years. One hell of a journey. Thanks darling. No one had as much belief on this project as you. That means a lot,\" posted the director on Twitter on Friday.

The film’s completion hasn’t sunk in yet for Prabhas and he still feels that he has to shoot for some more portions - Shobu

Friday marked the completion of the showpiece. It was the 613th day of shoot for Rajamouli and Co

Delayed by a week, the filming of ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’ has been finally wrapped up in Hyderabad on Friday. While Prabhas, who would be seen as Shivudu and Mahendra Baahubali in the magnum opus, completed his portions on Thursday early morning itself, the unit had to wait for another day to wrap up some pending portions.

Naturally, Rajamouli got a tad bit emotional as Prabhas bid adieu to the unit. “"And that's a wrap for Prabhas. 3.5 years. One hell of a journey. Thanks darling. No one had as much belief on this project as you. That means a lot," posted the director on Twitter on Friday.

Speaking to Talkies, Shobu Yarlagadda, one of the producers of the film (the other being Prasad Devineni), pointed out, “We have started the second part last December (in 2015) and here you go, we’ve wrapped up the film in 230 days.

“It has been a one of a kind experience for me.” Ask whether Prabhas got emotional on Thursday as he has been with the project since its inception, Shobu noted, “I was with him as he wrapped up his portions. It hasn’t sunk in yet for him and he still feels that he has to shoot for some more portions.”

Shobu is ready to amp up the promotions shortly. “The full-fledged promotions will kick off next month. Karan Johar and Anil Thadani would be distributing the film in North. It would also witness a global dubbed release, though some territories are still working on it.”

Shobu is happy that given the nature of the film, most technicians haven’t left the project. “Except for VFX supervisor Srinivas Mohan who had a prior commitment to work on Rajinikanth-starrer ‘2.o,’ the technicians who worked for the first part continued their association for the second part too.”

So when is the theatrical trailer expected? “We are still working on it. I can’t give you a date right now.” Ask him about his future plans once ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’ opens and he says, “I haven’t thought about it yet.”
