She went to the SIT office, accompanied by her lawyer and bouncers straight from the sets of “Paisa Vasool”, a movie being directed by Puri Jagannadh, who was questioned in the case last week.

There was a lot of hungama at the SIT office when Charmee reached Abkari Bhavan. Despite the bouncers forming a protective ring around her, the police personnel vied with each other to get photographed with the actress as the shutterbugs of media were clicking her photos. She was however upset that an Excise SI Srinivas touched her near the entrance.

Before entering the lift, Charmee greeted the media men with a namaskar. According to Director Excise and Prohibition Akun Sabharwal, she was questioned for about six hours by a four-member team of women officers led by Assistant Excise Inspector Anita.

Sources said Charmee did not accept the lunch offered by the SIT and instead preferred the food she got from home. It is learnt that she was questioned about her alleged links with Calvin Mascrenhas, the kingpin of the racket.

She was also asked whether she takes drugs and who the suppliers were and how is that her name figured as Charmee dada in the call list of Calvin. SIT to quiz Mumaith today Actress Mumaith Khan who is one of the participants of Bigg Boss would be questioned by the SIT on Thursday.
