Mahanubhavudu Review 

Mahanubhavudu is the latest Telugu-language romantic action comedy film written and directed by Maruthi Dasari who made some good films. The film Mahanubhavudu features Sharwanand and Mehreen Pirzada in the lead roles. The film was completed in a span of 6 months as the makers wanted the required time to shape it properly.

The trailer already hiked the expectations on the film. Mahanubhavudu is competing with Jai Lava Kusa and SPYder for this festival season. So how has the movie shaped up? Let's find out.

Story:

The film Mahanubhavudu is a romantic tale of Anand (Sharwanand), a software employee who is obsessed with OCD. Because of this disorder, his romantic tale encounters a hurdle which he has to solve and finally enter the wedlock with his girl Meghana (Mehreen). How did this happen reveals the story of the movie?

Performances:

Sharwanand and Mehreen Kaur are brilliant in the film. Sharwanand is surely the man of the moment who is the winner of the festival season. His performance is amazing as someone suffering from OCD. His performance, especially during the interval is nice. The role he played in the film demands him to portray different emotions and he maintained that balance very well.

Mehreen Kaur as a female lead also impressed with her glamour and brilliant screen presence. Her performance also deserves appreciation. The other set of actors in the film also played their parts well and entertained everyone. All of them made their presence felt.

Technical Department:

The cinematography is done by Nizar Shafi. He is improving with film by film and entering the big league. The way he handled this project is amazing because of every frame appearing colourful and natural. The quality at which the film was made mesmerises everyone.

His work added a lot of glamour to the movie and it can be termed as one of the highlights of the film. The editing of the film is nice. The cuts are sharp. Thaman's music is another highlight of the film. His background score is also very nice. On a whole, the production values of the film are grand.

Verdict:

Mahanubhavudu is a film that runs completely based on the characterization of the protagonist. There is no particular story in it but the situations played a vital role in the screenplay. The film is elevated by decent performances from the lead actors. Maruthi, who caught the pulse of the audiences with the entertaining Bhale Bhale Magadivoi has come up with a refined version of the same in the form of Mahanubhavudu.

The entire film unit including the director Maruthi pinned hopes on entertainment factor and they are successful in achieving as the neat comedy in the movie is doing all the talk in the public.

With ups and downs in the narration and some lags in the second half, the film ends as a happy one time watchable film.
