Story:

Krishna and Arjun are lookalikes living in Chittoor and Europe respectively. They have no connection with each other. While Krishna falls for Riya (Ruksar), Arjun falls for Subba Lakshmi (Anupama). At a point in their lives, their love encounters a problem. What is the problem and How did it change their lives forms the story of the movie.

Performances:

The performances from the lead actors are decent in the movie. Nani impressed one, and all with his natural acting in both the roles but a weak script could not help him to take the film to the unbeaten path.

Both the heroines Anupama Parameswaran and Ruksar Meer have given their best for the movie. They are apt in the roles they were picked for. The other actors like Brahmaji, Sudarshan, Nagineedu impressed everyone in their limited roles.

Technical Aspects:

Karthik Gattamaneni does the film's cinematography. Karthik Gattamaneni showed a difference in his working style when compared to his previous movies. The editing by Satya G is okay. The makers could have chopped off a lot of scenes in the first half and second half to make the screenplay pacy.

The writing by Merlapaka Gandhi is okay. The dialogues came out well. The music by Hip Hop Tamizha is impressive. The background score is perfect especially during the fight sequences. The production values by Shine Screens are luxurious and lavish.

Verdict:

Krishnarjuna Yuddham is a film that deals with the most critical problem in the society. But, the director chose to narrate it in a way which is neither engaging nor impressive. The entire first half runs at a slow pace where the director focused on unfolding the characters and their establishment.

The story does not move forward in the first half. It is only in the second half; we come to know about the actual theme of the movie. The film picks pace during the start of the second half but instantly falls drastically when the makers brought a song during the end.

Instead of making the movie as a regular drama and dragging it, the film unit could have thrillingly made the film. On the whole, the film has few good sequences and decent comedy. Except for those, there is nothing much to rave about the movie.
