After a debacle like ‘Spyder’, top director AR Murugadoss is all set to bounce back with ‘Sarkar’ starring Vijay and Keerthy Suresh. The film is hitting the screens on 6th November on the occasion of Diwali. With a runtime of 163 minutes, this political drama is carrying tons of expectations over it.
‘Sarkar’ is the third collaboration of Vijay and Murugadoss after blockbusters like ‘Thupaki’ and ‘Kaththi’. It is a political drama where a business tycoon who stays abroad comes to India to cast his vote and he finds his vote got cast already. His fight against the system starts from there and we need to see where it ends onscreen. After ‘Saamy’ and ‘Pandem Kodi 2’, this is the third dubbing film of Keerthy Suresh. Varalakshmi Sarathkumar will be seen playing an important role of a politician in ‘Sarkar’. Apart from them, there are many Tamil actors like Radha Ravi, Yogi Babu, Livingston and others.
This high-budget flick is produced by Sun Pictures and Oscar winning composer AR Rahman composed music for this film. The music is already topping the charts in Tamil Nadu. Girish Gangadharan handled the camera department while Sreekar Prasad edited this flick. The Telugu dialogues were penned by Sreeramakrishna. This is a crucial flick from Murugadoss as his ‘Spyder’ became one of the biggest disasters in South India. Also, ‘Sarkar’ was in news recently regarding the copy allegations on Murugadoss over the story which was later resolved.
The film is having the biggest release across South India and let us see if Vijay-Murugadoss duo can repeat their magic once again on big-screen or not.
