Shankar highly inspiring: Amy Jackson

Actress Amy Jackson who was seen in Telugu film ‘Yevadu’, is pinning big hopes on her new release ‘2.0.’ She said “Having worked with director Shankar way back in 2015, I am baffled by his dedication and work ethics, a huge source of inspiration for me,” she said while talking to the media. “The biggest lesson that I have learnt from him is that you have to prepare for everything well in advance. When a director of his calibre works so hard, it also makes you want to give your best,” she said.

She also revealed that she watched quite a few sci-fi films and documentaries related to artificial intelligence to prepare for her role. In the film, she plays Nila, a humanoid, who aids Dr Vaseegar and Chitti to fight against Dr Richard. “It was wonderful working with Rajinikanth and no matter how hard things seems to be, he never gets flustered. His humility was inspiring,” she said. The film has Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson playing lead roles, and has drawn good openings on Day one. Amy Jackson who is busy with Hindi and Tamil movies, is looking forward to a ‘right kind of role’ to return to T-town. Are Telugu filmmakers listening?
