Excited And Proud Of Rangbaaz Says Aahana Kumra

Lipstick Under My Burkha Actress Aahana Kumar is excited and proud of her new crime web-series Rangbaaz under ZEE5, also starring Saqib Saleem in the lead role.

The trailer for Rangbaaz is finally out, which is a ZEE5 Original starring Saqib Saleem, Aahana Kumra, Ravi Kishan, Tigmanshu Dhulia and Ranvir Shorey. It is a crime thriller series that is set against the rustic background of the Gorakhpur of the 90’s with hues of crime, blood lust and dirty politics.

Aahana Kumra took to her social media profile and shared her excitement about the series. Saqib Saleem, who plays the main lead in the series, dropped the trailer on his social media profile. He captioned it, “ नब्बे के दशक का सबसे बड़ा गैंगस्टर -मिलिये शिव प्रकाश शुक्ला से. #Rangbaaz, coming soon, @ZEE5India @dirtigmanshu @AahanaKumra @RanvirShorey @ravikishann #ZEE5Originals”

The series chronicles the life of gangster Shiv Prakash Shukla, who hailed from humble beginnings but became the most notorious criminal in 90’s.

Though the trailer only features a glimpse of Dhulia, he reportedly plays a politician with an intimidating personality, named Ram Shankar Tiwari. Meanwhile, Shorey will play a straight-arrow police officer Siddharth Pandey.

The streaming platform will premiere Rangbaaz, directed by Bhav Dhulia on 22 December.
