The maker of ‘Indian 2’ unveils back to back two new posters from the film with Kamal Hassan reprising his role of badass old freedom fighter.
The official handle of Lyca Productions dropped the poster on social media. They captioned it, “Happy #Indian2 Day...Shooting Starts Today!! @ikamalhaasan @shankarshanmugh @anirudhofficial @dop_ravivarman @sreekar_prasad @muthurajthangvl”
The shoot of Indian 2 begins today at a grand set in the outskirts of Chennai city. The first look posters of the film have become viral on social networking sites mainly because of the stunning look of Kamal Haasan as the patriotic old man Senapathy.
The film is a sequel to 1994 Tamil blockbuster "Indian", the project also stars Kajal Aggarwal as the leading lady.
The first part had featured actress Urmila Matondkar and Manisha Koirala in lead roles. However, neither of them plays a part in the second installment. Also, Oscar-winner AR Rahman was the composer of the original film. But he has been replaced by Anirudh Ravichander.
The rest of the cast and crew are yet to be revealed.
