Mehrauli: Woman raped by father, son

New Delhi: Let it be the national capital or state capital; let it be an urban area or a rural area; let it be a minor girl or a major girl; let it be a spinster or a widow….whatsoever the case may be, in contemporary India, even after the implementation of strict rules and regulations like Nirbhaya, no change is ever seen. Instead, the crime against women is rather at its peak. Another atrocious incident that took place in the national capital made everyone to ponder repeatedly about the safety of women.

Father and son collectively raped a close relative of them, without bothering at least for the relationships they should abide by. Are you shocked? Yes, it’s true. Near Mehrauli in south Delhi this monstrous incident took place. After the brutal rape, the woman was warned of dire consequences, if disclosed to anyone. Of late, this incident has come into light. Although this incident has taken place on Sunday night, it is only on Wednesday the media came to know, despite the fact that the victim made a complaint in the police station on Monday. The accused duo has been arrested by the police and has been interrogated.
