TITA Protests Against Fake IT Company

TITA along with the employees of Gee-Whiz on Friday gave a representation to Additional Commissioner of Police (Crime) Sandeep Shandilya and urged him to take necessary action against the IT Company. “Police should take immediate action on the company and get the amount refunded to the employees. Employees had lost more than one year experience which they cannot claim in the next company and should get compensation. Police should identify and seize such fraudulent companies,” said Sundeep Makthala, founder president of TITA.

“There is no monitoring system for the skill development training institutes which are charging exorbitant fees. Aspirants can make use of the TITA mentorship programme by taking the expert advice before joining any company or institute,” Sundeep said.

It may be recalled that based on the complaint lodged by the victims on Thursday, Punjagutta police registered a case under Section 420 (Cheating) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) against the directors of the company, T Satyaram Murthy and T Amulya and the receptionist Arshiya and arrested them.
