Jangaon (Warangal): Amway CEO Arrested by Jangaon Police, Jangaon police on Saturday arrested Amway India CEO William Scott Pinckney in connection with a criminal case filed against the direct-selling company.
Jangaon (Warangal): Jangaon police on Saturday arrested Amway India CEO William Scott Pinckney in connection with a criminal case filed against the direct-selling company. A complaint was lodged in Jangaon police station by advocate Sadiq Ali, following which police applied for a prisoner transit warrant against the CEO in a local court.
Police on Saturday secured the PT warrant against Pinckney and took him into custody from the Warangal central prison, where he was kept in connection with the case filed against him in Khammam. Jangaon CI Narasimha Rao said Pinckney was produced before the judicial first class magistrate who sent him to judicial custody. He was shifted to the prison. It is learnt that Kurnool police were given permission for Pinckney’s five-day judicial remand. They would take him into custody for interrogation. Pinckney was first arrested in Gurgaon on last Monday by Kurnool police for alleged financial irregularities committed by Amway.
