Narayana Junior College student commits suicide

Hyderabad: Early on Saturday, an Intermediate student of Narayana Junior College has allegedly committed suicide. According to sources, he hanged self to death in his hostel room located at Bag Amberpet in Hyderabad. The deceased has been identified as Praneeth Kumar Reddy, a resident of Husnabad in Karimnagar district. The colleagues of him who saw Praneeth hanging to the fan informed to the administration of the hostel, immediately. In turn the police were informed by the management.

The police rushed the spot and taken over the dead body. The same has been sent for post-mortem to Osmania hospital. According to the preliminary investigations, it was learnt that Praneeth might have committed suicide bowing to a heavy depression. A case has been registered by the police; and the parents of the deceased have been informed of this issue. More details are awaited.

It is worth recollecting that an Engineering student Raghunath Reddy (22), a resident of Maddnnacheruvu of Tadimarri mandal in Anantapur district who had been a student of III yr civil engineering at Srikrishnadevarya Engineering College in Gutti committed suicide five days before in a similar manner.​
