Police Official’s Wife Robs Costly Silk Sarees?. According to sources, the Punjagutta police have taken two women who allegedly robbed costly sarees from a cloth store into their custody.
Hyderabad: According to sources, the Punjagutta police have taken two women who allegedly robbed costly sarees from a cloth store into their custody. At Venkataramana Colony of Punjagutta, Vani Kumari has been running Vasudha Sarees. On Saturday night to women went into the shop in the pretext of buying the sarees and allegedly stole as many as 6 sarees worth Rs 40,000 each.
Based on the complaint made by the shop owner and the clues on the CCTV footages, the police have identified one of the women as the spouse of a high cadre police official. The police have allegedly arrested her and the woman who supported her in this episode. Nevertheless, the police denied of any arrests concerning this issue, added sources. More details are awaited.
