Bouncers misbehave with woman at Hyderabad pub, held

Hyderabad: Two bouncers employed by a pub at Banjara Hills were arrested on Wednesday for allegedly misbehaving with a woman and beating her friend, the police said.

In their complaint lodged with police, the woman and the man alleged that bouncers identified as Anthony and Anish, had misbehaved with them and roughed up the man after an altercation at the pub on Tuesday night, Punjagutta police station inspector S Mohan Kumar said.

The Punjagutta police booked a case charging the bouncers with assaulting and using criminal force against the woman with intent to outrage her modesty, wrongfully restraining and voluntarily causing hurt under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and arrested the two bouncers.
