Girl thrashes man publicly for sending lewd messages

Hyderabad: A man who used to pass lewd remarks and send offensive messages to a girl got a befitting lesson in full public view on Tuesday noon.

The girl, a resident of LB Nagar area, who has been getting obscene text messages from the accused Satyanarayana for the past couple of days, thought of teaching a befitting lesson. She called the accused on the pretext of meeting him personally near a shopping mall in LB Nagar area.

She then raised an alarm and thrashed the man on the face, head and shoulders with the sandal in full public view when he reached the said place. The accused who hardly had time to react earned the ire of pubic. The police was informed and officers reached the spot and took him into custody.
