Housewife sets self ablaze

Hyderabad: A 35-year-old woman allegedly committed suicide by setting herself ablaze at her residence in Shamirpet on Tuesday. According to police, the deceased Satyamma was married to Krishna, a labourer, residing at Thumukunta in Shamirpet area. Immediately after Satyamma set her on fire, the locals and family members rushed her to the Gandhi Hospital where she died after a few hours. Police are yet to ascertain the reasons that drove Satyamma to take the extreme step.
