Debt-ridden farmer commits suicide

Dornakal (Warangal): An agricultural farmer committed suicide by consuming pesticide in Bondya Tanda of Dornakal Mandal, here on Tuesday. He was identified as Badavat Swami (35) who suffered mental depression after his inability to pay the loan money of Rs one lakh which he took from the bank for the agricultural needs and children’s studies.He had also taken a loan of Rs two lakh from the villagers and couldn’t repay them. Recently the bank officials had auctioned the gold which he deposited as surety. He was distressed with all the instances and finally committed suicide. He is survived by wife and two children.
