Hyderabad: Madhapur police on Saturday arrested a woman on charges of stealing gold and silver ornaments worth Rs 3 lakh from Fatima Guest house, Khanamet on the outskirts of the city.
According to police, Shaheen Begum (28), a maid servant and resident of Sultan Nagar of Erragadda stole ornaments from her employer’s house on September 3. Upon receiving a complaint from the employers, police arrested Shaheen and recovered the stolen articles from her possession.
The case was investigated by M Ravindra Reddy, Inspector of Police (Crimes), Madhapur with assistance of his staff.
