School Boy Ends Life, Tattoo the Cause?

Raipur: Police say, a class VIII student, Sushant Dhurbe on Friday hanged himself in his hostel room in Chhattisgarh, Rajnandgaon district after allegedly being rebuked by his school principal for tattooing a girl’s name on his hand.

The weak hearted kid, perhaps could not take in his stride the scolding’s from his principal for tattooing a girl’s name on his wrist and decided to end his life.

The boy however left a suicide note addressed to his mother. “Mom, I am going. I fervently desire to be your son in my next birth. I love you very much. Your loving son Sushant.”

Before hanging himself from the ceilingwitha towel, the CCTV footages obtained from the room, showed the boy praying.

“Had the school authorities taken up the matter of tattooing with us before snubbing my son, the tragedy could have been averted,” police quoted the victim’s father P.R.Vasudev Rao, saying.

Sources say, despite the boy’s resistance he was shifted into the hostel. Apart from mere allegations, no rightful reason for the boy’s suicide has been found.

“Required action will be taken according to the probe outcome”, police say.
