Husband held for axing wife to death
In a gruesome incident, husband has axed his wife to death due to family dispute at Borunarsapuram village in Mangapet mandal on Friday.
Mangapet (Warangal): In a gruesome incident, husband has axed his wife to death due to family dispute at Borunarsapuram village in Mangapet mandal on Friday.
The accused Punem Narsaiah, who was addicted to alcohol, used to quarrel with his wife Swaroopa every day. On Thursday night, they had a heated argument which continued on Friday morning also.
While the quarrel was going on, Narsaiah had attacked Swaroopa with an axe killing her on the spot at their residence.
Following the incident, their two sons called for neighbours’ help. They have informed police about the incident.
Police personnel rushed to the village and took Narsaiah into custody. Eturnagaram Circle Inspector Kishore Kumar visited the house and booked a case against Narsaiah.
