Two bludgeoned to death
A woman was found killed on Tuesday while her husband went missing since Sunday at Addagutta D Section under Tukaramgate police station limits. According to police, on Tuesday, the woman was found bludgeoned to death. Little is known about the couple who a week ago came to Addagutta and took a room on rent.

The husband works as a caterer, the locals said, adding that since Sunday the couple remained indoors and no activity was seen outside the house.
Sensing something fishy, the house owner on Tuesday with the help of neighbours broke open the door only to find the head of the woman bloodied. “With the husband missing, we have made him the prime accused in the alleged murder. The motive behind the murder, however, is not yet known,” inspector T Lakshminarayana said.
In a similar incident, a 30-year-old man was bludgeoned to death allegedly by some unknown miscreants near Old Gandhi Hospital under Market police limits, police said on Tuesday. The victim has been identified as Sadavath Chandu, a resident of Bachupally. Locals found his body with his head bludgeoned opposite electric sub-station near Old Gandhi Hospital on Tuesday around 2.30 pm and alerted the police. “We are yet to ascertain the motive behind the murder,” inspector RG Shiva Maruthi said.
