Medico found dead under suspicious circumstances
A medico was found dead under mysterious circumstances in the Nagarjunasagar project (NSP) canal near Perika Singaram village under Kusumanchi mandal in Khammam district on Wednesday morning.

The deceased has been identified as Gopisetty Manideep, a native of Subedari in Hanamkonda of Warangal district, studying final year BDS at Mamata Medical College here.
It’s learnt that Manideep left college hostel on Monday and didn’t return.
He was found dead in the canal on Wednesday morning. Locals, who saw the body informed the police. The police are yet to ascertain the reason behind the death.
Based on complaint from the victim’s father Srinivas, the Kusumanchi sub-inspector John Reddy registered a case and started investigation.
The body was sent to government hospital in Khammam for post-mortem. DSP Dakshinamurthy visited the scene of offence.
