Man dies, son injured in mishap

In a tragic accident, a man was killed on the spot, while his son seriously injured in a road mishap near DMRL crossroads under Kanchanbagh police station limits on Friday. According to sources, the duo was going to Chandrayanagutta from Kanchanbagh riding a motorcycle (AP 29J 1516) when a truck (AP 16 W 8239) rammed the motorcycle from behind on Friday around 11.30 am.

Due to the impact Md Shahabudin (45), a resident of Yousufain Colony, was thrown on the road and killed on the spot, while his son Md Ayaan (9), who received serious head injuries, was shifted to the DRDO Apollo at Kanchanbagh. Police registered a case under Section 304A and 337 of the IPC against the truck driver who is absconding.
