Darjeeling girl gang raped by lover, friends
An 18-year-old girl was allegedly gang raped by her boyfriend and six of his friends in Secunderabad on Sunday night. According to Narayanaguda police, the victim, a native of Darjeeling, who had recently moved to the city, was residing in Gandhi Kuteer Colony in Narayanaguda area and was working in a beauty parlour. “On Sunday around 11.30 pm, she lodged a case against her boyfriend, Majid, his friend Rahul and his five other friends for raping her in turns.

According to Narayanaguda police, the victim, a native of Darjeeling, who had recently moved to the city, was residing in Gandhi Kuteer Colony in Narayanaguda area and was working in a beauty parlour. “On Sunday around 11.30 pm, she lodged a case against her boyfriend, Majid, his friend Rahul and his five other friends for raping her in turns.
She was found in an intoxicated state when she approached the police for help,” inspector S Bheem Reddy said. According to her statement, she was raped in an isolated place near Secunderabad on Sunday night. “We are expecting an official statement from the investigating officer and awaiting medical reports,” the cops said, adding that based on victim’s complaint they arrested Majid and questioning his alleged involvement.
However, he denied all charges and claimed that they sat in a park and after that she left. “The probe is on as several contradictory statements regarding the time and place were made,” the cops said. A case of gang rape has been filed on the basis of her complaint.
