Lightning kills four in Mahabubnagar

In a tragic incident, four persons belonging to different families were killed and two others were injured when lightning struck them in Gangapur village of Jadcharla mandal on Saturday. Two of the victims were identified as Srinivasulu and Parvathamma of the same village.
Mahabubnagar: In a tragic incident, four persons belonging to different families were killed and two others were injured when lightning struck them in Gangapur village of Jadcharla mandal on Saturday. Two of the victims were identified as Srinivasulu and Parvathamma of the same village.
Two other children, Jagadeeswari and Mykesh, who belonged to Adirepalli village in Nellore district, were working in the locality and came to the field for drinking water when the lightning struck. The tragedy occurred when they were taking shelter under a tree. Two others, who were injured, were sent to local government hospital for treatment, Jadcharla CI Jangaiah said.
