The Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) Customs officials held a male passenger for smuggling and seized about two kilograms of gold from his possession. Acting on passenger profiling intelligence data, the sleuths of Air Intelligence Unit, RGIA Customs, intercepted the passenger, 41, who arrived at the RGIA from Abu Dhabi by Jet Airways flight (9W549). Gold biscuits wrapped in paper were found deftly concealed in the battery sockets
Hyderabad: The Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) Customs officials held a male passenger for smuggling and seized about two kilograms of gold from his possession. Acting on passenger profiling intelligence data, the sleuths of Air Intelligence Unit, RGIA Customs, intercepted the passenger, 41, who arrived at the RGIA from Abu Dhabi by Jet Airways flight (9W549). Gold biscuits wrapped in paper were found deftly concealed in the battery sockets of an emergency light and a tricycle toy. He was arrested under Section 104 of Customs Act and produced before the court.
