Property offenders held; gold recovered
The Saroornagar CCS team on Wednesday arrested two notorious property offenders and seized a little over 300 grams of gold ornaments, a car, two motorcycles and electronic gadgets, all worth Rs 20 lakh from their possession. The accused were identified as Kattela Anoop Kumar alias Niteesh alias Raju alias Tinku, 24, and Nalla Ranjith Kumar, 22, both residents of Uppuguda.

"Anoop is a repeat offender and has been involved in house-breaking cases for the past eight years. NBWs are pending against him under Malakpet police station limits. He also served jail term in the past for similar offences. After his release from jail, he continued to commit house breaking offences by breaking the locks,” Cyberabad DCP (Crime) B Naveen Kumar said adding that he was involved in at least 30 such cases under Cyberabad commissionerate.
