Cop stabbed; wife suspected
Narasimhulu (43), a constable attached to the Begumpet Police Station was stabbed to death by unidentified persons near his home at Lakshmiprasanna Nagar Colony here. However, the locals and colleagues of the deceased say that his wife Bala Lakshmi might have a hand in it.

They recalled that Bala Lakshmi had differences of opinion with her husband for quite some time and she had even lodged a complaint with the Human Rights Commission.
The locals pointed out that Narasimhulu, who is a father of four girl children, had been stating that he would marry again for the last few days and was pressurising his wife on the subject and that might be the reason for the murder. During the attack on Monday, Narasimhulu’s uncle also suffered injuries. The police have registered a case and the investigation is on.
