Hyderabad: As many as four persons including two senior citizens were killed in different road accidents in Hyderabad late on Sunday night.

A 70-year-old man was run over by a motorcycle near a flyover in Secunderabad on Sunday night. The victim, Gangaram Yadav (70), was returning home in Sitaphalmandi on his bike, when he was hit by a speeding bike. The passersby rushed the victim to Gandhi Hospital where he was declared brought dead.

In another accident, Anil Paul (35), a lorry driver from Uttar Pradesh was killed instantly when a lorry hit him at Kukatpally on Sunday. Following some problem in the vehicle engine, the victim parked his lorry on the roadside and was looking into the defect. Meanwhile, a speeding lorry hit him from rear and consequently,he died on the spot.

In yet another accident at Saroornagar, a man died on the spot while another sustained injuries when the bike they were riding was hit by another unidentified vehicle. The victim was identified as VM Chary (34) of Shaikpet and the injured Bhangari was admitted to Osmania General Hospital. The bodies of the deceased persons were shifted to OGH mortuary for autopsy.

A 80-year-old K Mutyali of Kondaliguda, who was admitted to the Gandhi Hospital after falling from a scooter, succumbed to injuries. The woman was admitted to the hospital on October 21 and she died while undergoing treatment on Sunday night.
