Hyderabad: The Nizam College principal on Wednesday, with the help of the police, counselled two final year graduation students for teasing Anand Kumar, a student who had set a world record by scaling Mount Everest at a very young age.
According the sources, a senior student of Anand had reportedly teased him repeatedly, after which Anand complained to the college principal. On Wednesday, Principal TLS Swamy and Abids Inspector Srinivas counselled the final year BA students Mohan and Bharath and warned them to not repeat such actions.
The principal has assured safety to Anand and ordered an internal enquiry into the issue. However, no case was registered in the incident.
