Five notorious offenders detained under PD Act
As part of drive against habitual offenders under Cyberabad Police Commissionerate, the Commissioner of Police C V Anand ordered detention of five “notorious offenders” under Preventive Detention Act. The PD Act was invoked as the detained persons reoffended, posing a threat to public order.
Hyderabad: As part of drive against habitual offenders under Cyberabad Police Commissionerate, the Commissioner of Police C V Anand ordered detention of five “notorious offenders” under Preventive Detention Act. The PD Act was invoked as the detained persons reoffended, posing a threat to public order.
Those detained under the PD Act are Syed Younus, 22, of Nawabsab Kunta, Saleehen colony, Kalapathar, Mohd. Ibrahim Khaleel, 20, of Near Old Kedia Oil Mill, Shasthirpuram, Mailardevpally, Rajendranagar in Ranga Reddy district, Mohd. Khaleeluddin, 20, of Saleheen Colony, Kalapathar, and Shaik Ghouse Pasha , 23, of Lalaguda, Bandi Venkatesh Goud, 39, of Vennelagadda, Jeedimetla village under Qutubullapur Mandal in Ranga Reddy district.
