Five killed in separate road mishaps

Five persons, including two girl students, were killed in separate road accidents in Hyderabad on Saturday. Three persons were killed when the car in which they were travelling was hit by a tipper at Pedda Amberpet.
Hyderabad: Five persons, including two girl students, were killed in separate road accidents in Hyderabad on Saturday. Three persons were killed when the car in which they were travelling was hit by a tipper at Pedda Amberpet. The victims, all family members from Koheda, were heading to Yadagirigutta from Umarkhanguda when the tipper hit them. On receiving information, the Hayathnagar police rushed to the spot. The bodies were later shifted to Osmania General Hospital mortuary for autopsy.
Similarly, two girl students of Kasturba Gandhi Women’s College were mowed down by an RTC bus while they were going to the college on a bike. The girls, V Susmitha of Nagaram and Husnarija of Sainikupri were studying MSc first year at KG Women’s College at Marredpally. A case has been booked by the Gandhi Nagar police.
