A 20-year-old man and a Class VIII student who were allegedly in love committed suicide in Mahbubanagar over an argument on marriage. Police informed that Tirumalesh was a shepherd in Lingareddypally in Mahbubnagar district and passed SSC while the 14-year-old girl was a resident of the same village. Both were in a relationship since a year and their families too agreed to do their marriage after the girl completed her studies.
But the couple had an argument on Saturday with the girl wanting a quick marriage. Following the argument, the girl hanged herself from a tree on Saturday night and Tirumalesh who feared that he would be held responsible also hanged himself from a tree on Sunday morning.
