Patiala: Renowned journalist Kanwar Sandhu, who has extensively covered Punjab hardline politics over his career, was " manhandled' and "thrashed' by Bhai Balwant Singh Rajoana in Patiala jail where he had gone to interview the latter on Saturday.
Two officials of the Patiala central jail, including an assistant superintendent of jails, were placed under suspension after the incident.
