Two jailed for driving sans licence
A student and an auto driver from Hyderabad were imprisoned by the courts on Thursday for driving vehicles without possessing a driving licence. The duo was caught thrice by the traffic police in a span of 10 days, the police said. Ismail, a degree student from Mirchowk, had been driving bike without having a valid driving licence.

From March 1, he was caught thrice by traffic police in various police stations’ limits. The DCP said Ismail was imprisoned for one day by the Sixth Metropolitan Magistrate Court. In another instance, an auto driver was caught repeatedly for driving without a licence in Malakpet traffic police station limits and he was also imprisoned for one day, he said.
