Girl alleges extortion by FB friend
A 20-year-old woman from LB Nagar on Friday lodged a complaint with the police alleging that a florist had threatened to upload her pictures in social media and extorted cash and jewellery from her. According to the sources, the girl hailing from Kakatiya Nagar in Nagole met one Robin of LB Nagar through Facebook.
Hyderabad: A 20-year-old woman from LB Nagar on Friday lodged a complaint with the police alleging that a florist had threatened to upload her pictures in social media and extorted cash and jewellery from her. According to the sources, the girl hailing from Kakatiya Nagar in Nagole met one Robin of LB Nagar through Facebook.
They became good friends in very little span and fell in love. During their intimate moments, Robin clicked the girl’s pictures and started threatening to post them on social media and defame her and demanded money. The feared girl gave some gold jewellery including her mother’s necklace and some cash to Robin at Kamineni X roads.
When her parents questioned about the missing jewellery and cash, the victim revealed about the series of incidents that happened between her and Robin. On Friday, based on the complaint lodged by the girl and her parents, the LB Nagar police booked a case against Robin and started investigation.
