Khammam: The police, who picked up three persons on suspicion, were shocked to find three 700-year-old panchaloha idols with them. On a tip-off, the CCS Inspector, T Eswaraiah, with the help of urban police wing conducted vehicle check at Pandurangapuram village on the suburbs of Khammam city in the wee hours of Saturday. 

During the check, they found three persons Jangala Venkanna, Vipuri Prasad and Gaddala Shyam of Koyachelka village wandering suspiciously. The trio spilled the beans when the police interrogated them. Additional Superintendent of Police S Saikrishna said that the trio have stolen 700-year-old panchaloha idols of Varadaraja Swamy, Sridevi and Bhudevi Ammavaru on March 15.
