The State CID arrested three persons in connection with cheating of a city businessman by collecting huge amounts of money on the pretext of generating crore of rupees using Uranium and Iridium that are also called as “rice pulling bowls”.

Hyderabad: The State CID arrested three persons in connection with cheating of a city businessman by collecting huge amounts of money on the pretext of generating crore of rupees using Uranium and Iridium that are also called as “rice pulling bowls”.

In a press note released here on Thursday, the CID said a case was registered on June 26 on a complaint lodged by K Damodhar Reddy of Jubilee Hills.

A prima facie case has been established that Perminder Singh alias RS Kohli of New Delhi, S Gangadhar Reddy of Kurnool, KVSS Ramesh Babu of Kukatpally and others had obtained forged and fabricated certificates for purchasing and selling of precious rare earth metals in favour of MNS Auctioneer and fund proof letter from the RBI with an intention to cheat the innocent public.

Some businessmen from Hyderabad and Bangalore, who wanted to make easy money, fell in the trap of the accused and invested huge amounts with the accused. The accused cheated the innocent stating that they would find Uranium and Iridium (rice pulling bowls), the rare earth metals during thunderstorms, that are used to attract huge money.
