Army officer commits suicide
An army officer working at the Hyderabad Artillery Center committed suicide by hanging in his quarters on Sunday. The Golconda police said the deceased officer, identified as Kulvinder Singh (33), was a native of Punjab.
Hyderabad: An army officer working at the Hyderabad Artillery Center committed suicide by hanging in his quarters on Sunday. The Golconda police said the deceased officer, identified as Kulvinder Singh (33), was a native of Punjab.
He was transferred to Hyderabad Artillery Centre II at Golconda about two months ago. He was staying in the defence quarters. The police said after a month-long leave, Kulvinder joined duty on Saturday. Kulvinder’s colleagues noticed him hanging from a tree with a cloth in front of his quarters at around 7.30 am on Sunday.
