Hyderabad: An NRI from Dubai on Friday complained about slain gangster Nayeem’s atrocities which led him to leave the country. The police had so far booked 100 cases based on the complaints received from the victims. According to sources, Dr Ramesh Goud, resident of Hyderabad complained to the Rachakonda police that Nayeem’s associates had abducted him from his hospital and had beaten him black and blue.

He said he owned a hospital in Hayathnagar and had a partnership issue. He added that Nayeem’s associates abducted him and threatened him with dire consequences. The doctor further alleged that the Hayathnagar police did not take serious note of his complaint against Nayeem and his associates. The complainant also reportedly told police that he could not bear the harassment and left for Dubai.

Speaking to The Hans India, Rachakonda Police Commissioner MM Bhagwat said, “We have an old case related to this issue. We have asked the concerned team investigating the Nayeem’s deeds to follow it up.”

The commissioner also said several people were trying to take advantage of the situation and exploit the system by lodging complaints against Nayeem’s aides. “We are doing an in depth inquiry into each complaint received against Nayeem and his associates,” said the Commissioner.
