Mystery shrouds worker’s death
His body was found hanging to a tree near the project site in the early hours. The police said he may have committed suicide around 4 am of Wednesday. The body was sent to the community health centre in Polavaram.
Eluru: A 25-year-old construction worker died under suspicious circumstances at the site of Polavaram irrigation project in Ramayyapeta area of Polavaram mandal on Wednesday. According to police, Ranajikanth Mohanty (25) of Bilasi Village of Cuttack district in Odisha was working as a dozer operator in Triveni Earthmover Company. He was on duty at the dumping yard of Polavaram project site.
