Mothkur: In a bizarre incident, a man slit the throat of his live-in partner and attempted to commit suicide in a full public view at Pankabanda village under Mothukur mandal in Yadadri district on Monday.
According to police, Yedla Yadagiri (35) slit the throat of his live-in patner Gattu Rupa (25) and slashed his throat. Both were shifted to Bhongiri hospital.
Their condition is stated to be critical. Yadagiri developed intimacy with Rupa after his wife deserted him. Rupa was also deserted by her husband. Motukur police registered a case and investigating.
