Labourer held on rape charges

Hyderabad: The Rajender Nagar police on Wednesday arrested a labourer on the charges of raping a girl in his neighborhood.

The accused, Balraj, of Bandlaguda, allegedly raped a 23-year-old girl who lived in the same neighborhood on July 7.

The girl is said to be mentally unsound. Based on a complaint lodged by victim's parents, police registered a case and arrested Balraj under relevant sections.
